Challenge! – 2018 World Championship Format Standard with Jonathan Soto

The first episode of Challenge! is now available. Challenge! is an interactive gameplay series that leads into the Challenge! Championship, both of which we announced earlier this week.

In the first episode we play against 2018 World Championship invitee Jonathan Soto in the Standard format that will be used at the World Championship.

With each episode for this series, you can expect a companion post like this in which you will be able to find all of the decklists that I used on that episode.

It was originally planned for this series to be uploaded as one continuous episode, but in post production it became clear that my laptop would run out of memory before it could finish exporting a high definition video file that large. So instead, each Challenge! episode will be broken up into five parts and uploaded separately.

For the first episode, the first two parts will be available on Friday evening, and then the final three parts will be available on Saturday throughout the day.

In the future, I anticipate that Challenge! episodes will be posted across two days, and I would expect the first three parts will be posted on the first day, and then the last two parts will be posted on the second day.
